The Puffins sit upon this raku fired vessel. Raku firing creates a spectacular metallic surface! The texture of the vessel comes from the throwing technique that was used while the clay was in a plastic state. The colors are spectacular and as far as raku goes....this is a beauty! It measures 16" x 11" in diameter. Raku does not hold liquid, pieces are decorative.
